An Ancient Mediterranean Meal

This unique educational program for schools, church congregations, and youth groups has been presented to the UNC Lambs Club, Genesis House in Durham, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church Raleigh, and Missions to the World in Atlanta.

ZCC presents foods from the Holy Land and its ancient dietary laws & dining etiquette. The presentation also includes insightful teachings about methods of food gathering and preparation from ancient Mediterranean times and incorporates ancient Mediterranean recipes into modern daily life. This presentation can also include an interactive cooking class.

The Episcopal Diocese filmed an ancient Mediterranean cooking session with ZCC and Bishop Michael Curry, the current presiding bishop and primate of The Episcopal Church of the United States and who presided over the Royal Wedding.
